Dear readers,

I know its been a long time since i last posted but since I'm on holiday now and this would actually be a good early birthday present, so here I am to share a lil something..=)

As we all know Johnnie Walker is the world's leading Scotch Whisky and the number one whisky in Malaysia. They have also been the global partner of Formula One team VMM since 2005 for the similar values of innovation, winning and leadership. JW brings the energy and glamour of the pulsating Brazil GP to the Black Circuit Lounge for a high-flying Formula One lifestyle experience.

Even though I do not watch F1 that often anymore but energy and glamour is what keeps me going on a daily basis. The reason why i feel i would match the style and sophistication of Johnnie Walker with the energy and glamour of Brazil is because I strive for perfection in everything I do, I do not compromise on the clothes and shoes that I put on, and I'm very determine in achieving my dreams and celebrate with a bottle of champagne. =)

Believe it or not, black has always been my first choice for dresses. If i had a choice on how i would dress for the Johnnie Walker it would be with a little black dress just like Audrey Hepburn style and pair it off with my lovely Guess lace peep toe's

We gotta look as good as we can just how these F1 cars look stunning even on the move.

With that we have to Step inside the Black Circuit Lounge with Johnnie Walker for an inside access into the style and sophistication of the world of Formula 1.

As we all know, Johnnie Walker's motto is "Keep Walking", I personally think that Thanuja Ananthan epitomizes the meaning of those 2 words not solely because she was crowned Miss Malaysia 2009 but she live up to her words in saving animals as the ambassador of PETA Malaysia and also not supporting animal tested or produced products for her glamorous looks. She also personally help me gain more confidence during my training as a finalist in Miss Malaysia World 2011. Being first in the line up was not an easy task but she kept giving words of encouragement to keep me going.

A Speedy Saturday!

As mentioned in the previous post, I attended Benson Chan's launching yesterday. End up going alone due to unwanted circumstances.. *Ash if u're reading you owe me* LOL.. So anyways, the evening started off with a 4pm wedding mass in church. Once it was over, i headed to my car to get my "party" dress and got changed. Good thing i didnt wear that for church or it would have been drenched in sweat...weather was THAT HOT!!

I had the less kan cheong version of 29 dresses where she changed constantly thruout the night. Mine made my car looked like a changing room with dress, shoe and make up bag. After changing, i touch up my make up in the car and race my way thru rain and traffic n reach KL in 30 mins..

Once there, i felt so small..Everyone there felt IMPORTANT.. Designers of The Twelve, Amber Chia, Lisa Wong as MC, More important people, Bloggers, Press and shoe lovers like me.

The show kicked off at about 7 and they had live male mannequin for the shoe showcase..

While they had their rotation I took the opportunity to go try some of the shoes..And it was SUPER COMFORTABLE! Not sure how long the comfy can last but it definitely got 10/10 for first try..

those sandals are made for walking..

Once the showcase was done, they had a photo session with Benson Chen and Amber Chia with the models.

Then it was prize giving time.. Hoping to get the voucher so that i can spend them on the nice pair of flats/shoes but unfortunately i didnt. Sad part was the winners for the status contest did not even turn up for the event. They gave weather as an excuse but i risked SPEEDING IN THE RAIN to get to the event. Unfair but thats LIFE rite?

So after that was done I thought it was still early and i could make it for the dinner since wedding dinners never start early..=P Made a few calls and i made it back in Kajang by 8.30pm. Sat at table with Lester, his brother Clement, Rachel, Eric and family, n some of their close frens. Surprising thing even though some meeting for the first time but we manage to talk and laugh through the night.

It's been almost a year plus since i last posted something here. But i guess sometimes when you stop for a while, you come back stronger? So like i've promised to make this blog a fashion blog, I've told myself to at least try to make it happen. i've been waitin anxiously for this event to arrive..i guess its cos i walked passed the store a few times n boy do they sell nice dresses..=p so thanks to fred, i was invited to dis private event at The Garden's Club Lounge at level 4 of the Gardens Mall..i have to tell u, d whole evening jus made me feel important..not oni did i take d time to dress up n look good for d event, fred had a valet parking voucher he wanted me to use..so eventho at first i felt dat my 12 yr old civic feels out of place in d valet, but wen d driver drove my car away without giving any look or discriminating(u know how ppl can b very judgemental wit one look?) so ya..being treated fairly good is GOOD..=p

den we walked in n waited for ash..den we made our way up to d Lounge..i have to say walkin from one end to another end of d mall in 4 n 1/2 inch heels feels way further wen i walk in flats..HAHAHA..however, fashion disaster struck upon us..no i did not fall..but dis..

moving on, registered at d entrance n got ourselves a seat..d atmosphere itself made it feel like a glamorous yet private event..dimmed lights,champagne, wine, lil cocktail dishes n mannequins wit pretty dresses..jus perfect..

so after abt an hour later, Marion Counter comes out s the host of d nite in a gorgeous black cocktail Karen Millen dress n guess wat? Christian Louboutin's on her feet..daym she's one lucky girl..=(

So if u know me well enough, u will know i have a fetish for shoes..yes..my collection of shoes varies from colours, designs n patterns..from ballet flats to cheetah print stilettos..from crocs to cover pumps with embroidery n flower on it..and who knew my latest pair to d collection wud b one dat is similar to Fergie's collection..yes even i was shocked wen manda told me dat she saw fergie's shoe looking like mine in Hot Magazine..who wudve knew i have a taste of a celebrity..*perasans*

i told manda dis is d shoe i wan for xmas dis year..it matches all d dresses i had for d wedding n d dresses i planned to wear for xmas..so neways i din get it until after d wedding..and poor kristine,manda n mark went thru d torturing hour in Sunway's Charles n Keith wit me..not oni did i tried on a FEW pairs..it was all maroon/purplish in shade..but they all said dis was d beta wan..i was hesitating for it wasnt d perfect piece..there was a slight scratch on d side..n i wasnt happy wit it..manda said no one wud notice but i was still unhappy n guess wat, d staff gave me a 5% discount for their fault..so got it n kept it nicely in my cupboard till today..

so i guess its jus fated that i got that shoe dat day..
suddenly now i feel like dressing up..LOL

Ok as most of you should know by now, Kristine recently lost her A300 in China.Worst part is it wasnt her fault because her brother was holding it and he left it in a cab. Knowing n seeing her emo and sick for the past whole week and the half has been dreadful. Her camera was apart of her.it was her life,her passion and her encouragement to b a professional photographer.. she loved it So much dat if she wud sleep wit it she would..but so she's scared cos she may drop it.

She was my inspiration to start taking pics s well..Anyways, she had a lot of plans on how to celebrate her 21st next year..which is not far away.its on the 4th of January..But with her lost, she doesnt have to mood to do anything now..and the other problem is, she has everything equipt for the big day jus now without a body of the camera parts..

thats my last pic i took of her wit her lover at MIFW..

So we've talked among the few of us, and came up wit d idea to raise fund to replace her camera..yes its not gonna be cheap for d quoted price is abt 3k and it has to b done in less than a month of so..jus want to know, who is willing to chip into d fund and the amount u're willing to give..i know ull b wondering, im not trustworthy enough to keep d money or watso ever, but kristine here is my best friend and i give u my word..ill give u my account no if i have to..

so to those who is willing to help me out, lemme know, we'll have a meeting dat is convenient for everyone..

Busy Bee Pt 2 / Bday weekend

so..day 2 of d week was more of a hibernating day..but boy the PMS mood kicked in..fred got a pinch of it..lolz..din mean to fred..cos d xmas tree was gonna b up by friday anyhow..so tuesday was jus chillin at home n watchin movies mostly..

den came day 3..it was New Moon Premiere day s u saw d post..but during d day, after picking manda from sunway in d aftn, we parked at the Curve n den went to ikea to get tea light candles for mum n to check out xmas ornaments for my tree..price did hike up n there werent d wans i wanted..den we had Meatballs for tea/lunch which eva..met up wit sherie who was workin there n later on wit jonathan..den we walked in the curve to burn time..the deco's dis year was a very angelic concept..totally love it..beat pavilion again..lolz..here r some pics..

came day 4..i had weird dreams n cudnt sleep by 8..woke up n started workin on my xmas tree..redid d lights n added in a set more..it was a non stop process..till 12..after i put up d RED ornaments..den i took a nap..n later on woke up to head down to pavilion to get more red ornaments from Tangs..made use of my 100bucks voucher i won from the blogathon contest..came home n redecorated MOST of the ornaments due to d lack of BALANCE wen u're lack of sleep..lol.,i din get to stick to my ALL RED theme cos there were still empty spaces so decided to add some gold n dis was d final outcome..do tell me watchu think..

friday came..i was dead..but still i woke up n mopped d hse clean after all d deco's were done..den got ready for practice but it got cancelled..so went for lunch wit parents den came bak n sleep..woke up at abt 5+ n den got ready for shabu shabu session wit Jason Ng n gang..it was somewhere in Puchong..after dinner headed for pool at Mines..i manage to play a few good rounds..weeee..happy me..

den headed home n crashed..next morning woke up n got ready for our one day roadtrip to malacca..out of so many ppl i invited..oni fred n manda was able to join me..poor kris was too sick to join..if not it wudve have been a better wan eh guys?? left abt abt 9.30 n reached malacca at 11..traffic wasnt too bad..but traffic in malacca town was alredi building den..manage to find a carpark in front of St Francis Xavier Church..den walked our way to the chicken rice ball shop at d end of jonker..

c how happy he is..yes we were all starving after missing bkfs n lining up..
but manage to stop everyone n took a pic b4 eating..lol

n down came d rain..ran across d road for cendol n borrowed the owners umbrella to head for d 2nd round of cendol(durian cendol) which was d other end of jonker..turn out to b very disappointing..sighh..den went to get some Pineapple Tarts n den headed back to d car..

on the way bak to d car..=p

d guy at d carpark tried to pull a prank on me saying my tyre was flat but was smart enuf to know he was d wan who let d air out..so headed to d nearest petrol kiosk to pump air n den stopped fred at dataran pahlawan to get crepe cake..din know how n wat it tasted like..so waited in d car for them..manage to get a quick nap..n den out we went from malacca..was gettin too congested alredi..on d way we were still hesitating to go PD cos weather din seem too inviting..so decided to stop at seremban for naan instead..n true enuf it was alredi raining wen we took d PD seremban exit..roamed ard seremban town awhile den went to d Siew Pau factory to get some packed for home..den waited for the Mamak to reopen at 6pm..all of us napped in d car wit d cool air seeping thru d window..wen it was 6 we got down n waited PATIENTLY for d naan to b cooked..lolz..no regrets definitely..

at 7 we headed bak home..n reached fred's hse at 7.30..quite fast i wud say..n i wasnt speeding..got home, took a quick shower n crashed immediately..was jus too tired..got woken up at 12 by a fon call..den got a few bday wishes n slept bak..lolz..

woke up early on sunday to get ready for mass..was quite semangat to dress up..so wore top to toe skin colour..lolz..but for some reason i cant rmbr d readings..=/ bad me..but i know its d 1st week of advent n dat is FAITH..so yea its a sign i shud have more faith??..LOL..went for a light bkfs..n den came home..thinkin i cud sleep but fred called up to go ornament shoppin in kelana jaya..yes..abit d far but its cheaper there..got some stuff there n den went to amcorp s well..hunt d whole mall for snowflakes..n we finally got it at a little corner..n as we were walking out..we saw d heavy rain pouring outside..yeah DAMN..again have to get wet..so fred did his 200m sprint to d car n i still got wet even tho it was less than 10 metres..hahaha..fred was literally soaked..lol

came home n took a nap b4 heading out for dinner..went to imbi for fav beef noodle..had a lot of fun talking ard d table..kris s usual cracks up jokes..n mum got d philipino dude to play me a bday song..GOSH embarrassing ok..but it was for a good cause..n first time mum gave money in public ok..cos she dun believe in giving money to ppl who comes to ur table at meals..

neways after dat headed to alexis in jln ampang cos i insisted i wanted the pavlova cake..parents n bro went bak without telling..so it was d 4 of us..pavlova was sold out..so settled for the tiramisu wit Cognac..n boy was it good..nom nom nom.. s usual made them put 2 candles on it..n made me blow it..tho i din know wat to wish..lolz..

New Moon..

the movie we all been waiting for..part of d reason y i was so excited bcos i actually read d whole book n was anxious how'd they were gonna do it..watchin the trailers n the behind scenes build up the intensity n thank god...IT WAS REALLI HOW I IMAGINED IT WOULD BE.. s in s i read d book n imagined how each scene was, it came out not far from my imagination..BRAVO BRAVO..

it is far off beta than Twilight..the director Chris Weitz realli did a great job..he made sure that it followed the book n din miss out on any parts..the touching scenes were so good dat u can feel the pain of the characters..i shall not spoil n tell the story here..all i can say is go and watch the movie..its worth..i jus felt 2 hours wasnt enuf..LOL..i wud give it an 8/10 d 2 goes to the un-needed sensored at d kissing part..its dat scene is how u c d intensity of romance between Edward n Bella..Spoiler betul..

Busy Bee

k..like i said in my previous post, i'd b bz during dis time of d year..its not even dec n i alredi have things to do starting saturday..it was so tiring dat i cud drop dead asleep for 12 hours straight..yeah..

so starting wit friday..it started off pretty relax which was watchin 3 movies bak to bak on my oh-so-missed-couch..lolz..yes i know im a potato couch jus without d chips..LOL..so neways..at nite we had our regular caroling practice..which was not as proper s intended cos lack of voices n less concentration kua..but manage to cover quite a number of songs..after dat mamak session..n finally reached home at 1+..suppose to follow mum to airport at 5am in d morning but i was knocked out..

however i woke up at 8+ to get ready to send mum down to dental..yes its another weekly affair..but im glad cos its near pavilion..my fav mall at d moment..haha..so while mum was gettin her root canal done, i went to get movie tix for the Christmas Carol..thinkin it might take a while for mum to b done, i got d 2pm wan..mane tau she finish in half an hour..=.= n den mum said y buy so late..den she said wanted to watch 2012..so we ended up watchin 2 movies bak to back in cinema..AWESOME..now u know where i got my addiction to watchin movies from..LOL..but i have to say both movies were worth watchin..especially 2012 for d 2nd time..both are good for self awareness..wat u can do now to help prevent or prolong ur future..

so after dat, we headed back n i was alredi dozzing off..tried sleepin but mums cooking in d kitchen kept me awake..n i knocked out after dinner till d next morning..LOL..i skipped the Music Conference Asia event dat nite..was jus too daym tired..

den sunday morning came..woke up earlier n decided to wash both cars..yeah semangat tetiba..den realise was gonna b late for mass..quickly head for d shower n went to church..was quite awake d whole morning..den went for badminton at 2pm..n had a good game..now my thighs n arms are sore..=.= neways after dat had steamboat for dinner..YUMMMMM..n after cleaning up..hit d sack again..

n woke up earli dis mornin to fetch aunt to hospital for her check up..manage to reach there by a few minutes late..n after dat, headed down to mv to get my xmas tree lights wit fred..deco's were up n we were jus stunned by it..sighh..those stuff aint cheap man..d day i bring bak those fat cheques is d day i get my dream xmas tree...=P den decided to send d car to get its allignment b balancing done..n after dat came home rested n slept for 2 hours flat..LOL..n after dinner, took out d xmas tree n reefs to get d work goin..lights went on n switched on to find out d old lights looked pink..wtf..lucky its at d bottom n not in d middle..smart me..whee..so decided to put it on hold till i get more new lights..=)

dats all for DAY 1 of the last week of November..till tomoro..c ya..

i got back on sunday n not prepared to go back to class..cos i was EXHAUSTED..but i manage to drag myself..then on thursday i was invited to the Launching of Dimensions @ The Palace in Sheraton Imperial KL..organized by Astro n Maxis for the new sci-fi series..i was there earli n enjoyed a few cups of TEA at the restaurant while doin my moral essay..yes i know..i was rajin dat day..LOL..den wen everyone arrived, we found out dat the hotel had FREE ACCESS to their PCs..nice ones some more..aihh..wasted my time writing wen i cud type..neways..we went in during a speech of one of d VIP..den they premiered the first episode of Dimension..i wud have to say the production is NOT BAD..

current laptop too slow..i mean SLOW..i can fall asleep waitin for something to load..
i need a laptop so that i can do my work on the move..especially in uni or wen im travelling..
current laptop is not reliable for it can jus die anytime..n its UNFIXABLE..dats how old it is
i cant afford a laptop on my own cos i have other more important priorities..gahh

Opening Night of The Malaysian International Fashion Week!!

Last Wednesday i was invited by Pavilion to join them s one of the photographers in the Most Prestigious event in the Fashion industry which is the The Malaysian International Fashion Week. It was a great honour to b able to attend dis event bcos, not oni do u get to b ard local designers, models, celebrities n VIPs, however it is a great exposure for me as a Fashion & Retailing student n last but to experience wat is it like to b at a FASHION SHOW..

MIFW is all about world known designers parading their line directly from New York..as in it is d exact show they do in NYC..u know how the cast of Sex & the City talk a great deal about New York Fashion Week?? yeah its like a dream come true to finally have a chance to see it for my own..right here in Malaysia..nonetheless, i still dream of attending the Fashion Week in NYC..*dreams* This time ard, MaxMara n Diane Von Fursternberg(DVF) got the honour to reveal their Fall/Winter Collection on opening nite..

so we arrived there early to get our shooting spot n here r SOME of the Photographers there at the event..

Post Mortem Digi Music Live Concert

well..like i said we were all gungho abt d Autograph session in pavilion dat we went down at 9am.so we thought we were d oni hardcore ppl, but there r more hardcore ppl..

so neways wen we got there all stoned looking, we got our cd's n poster n got an after concert meet n greet pass, we lined up n waited for AAR to arrive..so s usual while waiting we camwhored n tried out d right settings for our cameras..

jus cudnt resist a nice shot..=)

n den another good thing happen, Rudy (hitz dj) started asking us questions to give away universal cd's..n i was the first to win..simplest question..wats d frequency for hitz.fm..b4 he shouted 3 i raised up n my hands n shouted 92.9..lolz..n i got another 3 cds..=) its oni fair dat i stay loyal to hitz radio station..haha..

s i was telling kris n manda, the band members wil b in Alphards n will come down jus by d side of d road..n true enuf 2 grey Alphards pulled up at the side..n there goes d crowd roaring..

so we lined up to get our posters n cd covers signed..n we were restricted from taking pics..wtf

den we stood ard to wait for AAR to get bak in d car..time to get papparazzi shots..

n after dat we headed to Nikko Hotel to stalk them..hahaha..we tried to sneak in for d press con but failed miserable..

n on d way down, i saw 3 of AAR members waitin in d lobby..n i rushed down to go take pics wit themm..lolz..

n den we headed off for lunch at Imbi..3 of us had Beef Noodle n kris had Yee Mee..

n after lunch took a slow drive to Bkt Jalil..yes it was 3pm n there was alredi ppl there..n we found out some of them came s early s 8am..wtf..crazy..

these r d ppl who came at 8am..

so confidently thinkin we were VIP passes holders, logically we'll b using d VIP entrance, so we jus lepak ard there..n we asked ard n they had no clue abt it..

n so we were walkin ard aimlessly IN the concert area cos we din give two hoots abt lining up at Public Entrance, until we were told dat it din matter if he had the YELLOW WRISTBAND..so den my fury mode came on after walking back n forth both entrances god knows how many times..started asking ard n tryin to get a clear explanation but no one cud gimme one till abt 4.45..

finally it turned out dat Hitz VIP passes belong in the baricaded area on d left n not on the VIP n MEDIA podium on the right..here i have to state, WHY THE HELL IS THERE TWO DIFF STANDARDS...VIP MEANS VIP LA..IDIOTS DUN GO SKOOL ASO KNOW HOW TO DIFFERENCIATE ASS N ASSHOLE OK..

so being dat time of d month n the excruciating heat, the leader for both entrances got a nice firing from me..tho i know they're doin their work but clearly their organizer which was MARCTENSIA din know how to organize an event s big s dis..there's a saying that goes, if ur head is small, put a small hat..dun put a huge hat dat covers ur eye,hit d wall n embarass urself.

in the end we din even go to our so called VIP area cos it was too far from the stage n d angle was bad..it realli made me feel like winning 10 VIP passes was jus useless..not oni was d sound system werent dat good, the crowd was jus barbaric..so all in all, ive gotto say its a 2/10 rating..
it was realli a HUGE disappointment..

so much for being happy we'll b in dat VIP area..

Meet them at Pavilion!! we decided dat we'll b at Pavilion early to catch them in person n get our cd's autographed.. im not sure if ive mentioned b4 or not, its not dat we suddenly decided to bcome hardcore fan of AAR, its a fact that they act sing well live n Tyson's stage performance is one hell of a crazy do..the reason i like a band or an artist is not oni by the records played on the radio, but their pure talent n personality..so it is oni fair to give them credit for the great music they have produced and the effort put into their performances all ard the world..

I've been thinkin how to start this post since the movie started..All i have to say is THANK YOU to Jason Ong aka Mynjayz for giving me invites to watch the movie..we indeed lost something precious from our midst..the great spirited soul of pop..this movie is based on the concert he was about to perform jus a few days after the day of his passing..like i stated in my status on fb..its a glimpse of wat he had planned for the world n wat the world missed..i realli cant imagine how the real concert wud b like if he was still around..but i guess its a blessing in disguise for everything that happens..

Neways after seeing the flashmob performances, we queued our way into the cinema halls..I missed the touching beginning script cos i was tryin to act take a pic of it but it was too blur..=/
so neways..10 mins into d movie i was alredi tappin my feet n moving my body to the beat of Michaels Famous Tracks..im too tired to rmbr them in sequence..hits from during the days of the Jackson 5 to Beat It n even the Earth Song..n mind u the recordings Ortega used were all his rehearsals..n MJ put effort into his rehearsals..he wore his shiny clothes n special shoes..

he's so shiny u can barely c him..=D

its jus so overwhelming to c him perform wit all his might.. n knowing how much pain he was goin thru after those practices jus to please his fans brings me down..the passionate of one soul..

altho some of my fav songs wasnt recorded i was guessing he passed b4 being able to rehearse it..But im grateful for all the wonderful songs he wrote n the spirit during all his performances..I would like to proudly say that Mr Kenny Ortega truly is the Best Musical Director & Choreographer to date..no one cud ever pull off such a good documentary on a Legend of Pop Music dat is MJ himself..

you'll always be rmbr as the man who filled my childhood wit the greatest hitz of all time..

well today it started off wit a good sunrise greeting me in d morning..so i decided to wash my car s i was still early to head to uni..after feelin all good dat my car is clean, i got ready for class n headed off..tho i wasnt being much of help wit d final drawing cos Han(group mate) insisted he wanted to perfect it..so i practically sat in front of him from start to finish..which was till 4 ok..it wasnt fun i tell u..i was on d verge of giving up n jus left but i wanted d final drawing so dat i cud come bak n figure out some color for it..

so anyway while sitting down doin ntg, i was listening to hitz.fm..n they were giving out 6vip passes to Digi Music Live which will b happening dis saturday at bkt jalil..so i spread d news to manda n kris so dat we can try to win those passes..i had 2 fons in my hands n was all semangat to go for it..but unfortunately i was too slow in dialing..so i jus sat there disappointed..

after a few hours had gone by, manda msged me ard 4+ n told me they were still giving out passes..but i was so tired i told her to try..so Han n I had chicken chop..i manage to get 2pieces of chicken at d price of one..another good scenario..=)

so i decided to leave campus n head to serdang station to wait for mum n get a quick nap s usually..took a slow drive n listened to hitz for d fun of it n listen who might b d next winner..jus b4 i stopped d car, i heard natalie announcing d song for d queue to call..all i heard was one buck shot n revolution..so soon s i stopped my car under d shade, i saw my fon n d batt was low alredi..but i din wanna use d car batt to play d radio..so i jus reached bak into my bag n took d headset out n tuned to hitz..jus s i wanted to shut my eyes, i heard a song dat cud b d queue to call..den once i heard mooky's voice, i pressed call on d 03-95433311..n it was ringing..d next thing i heard was Natalie's voice..i was jus shocked n din know wat to say..n mind u i was talkin thru my headset..but it was all clear n good..i cud tell dat they were recording..so den i started my engine to turn on d air cond cos it was jus getting TOO HOT!!! u get d vibe? hahaha..den they were playin te amo n d next i heard was natalie talkin to me on radio..HAHAHA..how cool..first time on radio n winning not 1,not 2 but 6 VIP passes to watch AAR AGAIN..its definitely a sign to become their hardcore fan..first world stage mosh pitt passes now this..TOTALLY CAN..=p

so neways ill c u guys there rocking out wit the local acts like, One Buck Shot, Disagree, Pop shuvit(i think) n of course THE ALL AMERICAN REJECTS!!!

cant wait to get those tickets in my hands..wheeeeeeeeee!!!

Hi everyone..a week in Bali passed so fast i din even really bother abt d absence of fb n internet..=/
so it WAS a study trip however, i din realli get info for my project because most or shud i say ALL of d places we visited were temples n paddy fields n my project is on Batik..so ya..more like a holiday for me..but nonetheless i cudnt run away from the long bus rides n do group presentation..all in all, the long journey to d temples were worth it bcos of d view,design n architecture of the place is beyond our expectation..so from here, ill jus let d pics do d talking..

to me it was a well spent trip..tho i still owe my mum for it cos i promise her to pay bak after workin at monsoon cup but d company dat so called hired us sub d contract to another company thus vanish my 1.8k..=/

neways lecturer told dat we may head to London next year..n i so cant wait for dat..i hope its abt d same price den i may b able to afford..=p

Next week is gonna b filled wit events-Campus Halloween Party, AAR's concert n sisters bday..but b4 d partying is all d submission of portfolios..=/

As i was reading my godsister's (manda) blog n i realised i haven done a post on "the Wedding"..LOLZ..

So it all started a year ago wen my brother n college soulmate, Oi Leng Aka Amanda decided to tie the knot. and wen it was down to d last week, it was jus work,work n WORK..d week started of wit d wrapping of fruit cakes..Aunti Pat (godma), amanda n amelia (godsis), mark,my sister,my mum n i sat at d table to get d work goin..it was quite a heart-dropping moment wen we opened d first cake n found fungus on it..which aunti alice warned us cos it was d wet batch, so wit anxiety, we opened d following cake, n thank god it was all good. then the cutting n wrapping began..

d topics on d table was jus priceless..n mind u we din even feel so much time passed once we were done

d wrapping itself took 6 hours or more..we lost track of time..=p

den d thursday b4 d wedding, aunti pat n i went to get flowers for d bouquet n pre-order the flowers needed in church..n we started doin d corsages on dat day itself so dat we cud concentrate on d hand bouquets d next day..

D real day came and it felt so unreal..it was quite calm n relax at first..till d heng tai's started arriving n den u cud feel d pressure of certain things dat needed to b done..n b4 they left, they had a brief on how d convoy was gonna b done..amazing team city guy..i forgot his name..=/

well despite d bz weekend, i manage to squeeze some time to finally get goin wit my Design Studies assignments..yes its getting too much to do it last minute..so drew out my design from inspirations on the net n here d some of them.. lemme know wat u think..i may consider designing something similar for a tattoo which i MAY get wen im at Bali..=p

As ive mentioned in d previous post, i attended my 3rd Hennessy Artistry event last nite..I must say eventho the venue was a bit small and a diff crowd, yesterdays line up was one of the best among the previous Artistry..not only was the performance good, all of them CAN SING LIVE!! *clap clap* Thank You Hennessy for making the right decision to make another event after Bkt Kiara..

So anyways, in the beginning wen i first met The Boys Like Girls at World Stage, i thought Paul was the best looking among all 4 of them..but last night, everything changed..i think it was jus meant to be..Kris n I, we stood on d right side of the stage where it was d designated MEDIA area..but everyone wanted to b in front of d stage thus d emptiness ard us..so instead of fighting wit d crowd we decided to get d best of where we were..At first we were bumped out cos Paul wasnt gonna b standin at dis side of d stage..but hack, it din matter cos having Bryan on our side was way cooler..i think its jus a thing abt bassist? i dunno..

anyhow, they started off wit Love Drunk and followed by Hero Heroin, Heart Heart Heartbreak, Thunder i think..dang i cant rmbr..cos y? i was bz tryin to take a good shots of them..n s i kept on taking pics, i realised dat Bryan act quite hot..

not oni did he had great hair,

he is FRIENDLY! =D so after they had their toast, i asked him for his glass..at first i tot he wasnt gonna gimme, but b4 they started Great Escape, he drank 3/4 of his drink n guess wat? He walked towards me n gave his glass to ME.. =D x100.. yes i was freagin happy..tho i tot a guitar pick wudve been nicer but how many glasses did he give away? 1 n only 1..lolz.. *bangga* best part is, we manage to converse during a concert..how F****** cool is dat?? *melts*

the UOX team were in Limkokwing this morning as scheduled..went to check on my art materials n aso waited anxiously to stand a chance of winning a pass to the event..so anxious i was d first to b called up to stage for d first game..i got d superhero act..so they gave us d xmen,ultraman n superman pose..n will have to do wen they mention it la..n tada..i was a natural born superhero..i conquered d game n won myself a pass..=)

The sad part is i dun get to bring a fren along..UOX is an anti fren pass giver..=/ It's hard wen u win something n feel good abt it but u cant bring someone along..No offence to my uni mate(teri).. but i wud like to go for events like these wit someone close n trust-worthy cos at such events things may happen..(touch wood) so yeah..im happy yet sad..seriously..its hard being me..

hey ya'll..so its been 2 days orientation has been goin on..n so far im having a bunch of fun..its very overwhelming with everything around Limkokwing Uni of Creative Technology (LUCT)..the lecturers,the students,the ambassadors,the technology,the environment and etc...

Yesterday being the first day..it wasnt easy making new frens..maybe cos i was quite stoned..lolz..but once d games started goin, it was goin well..FUN brings ppl together..but hack it was tiring walking ard the campus n thereafter running up n down the campus doin the "amazing race"..

However, today tho the line up were more of speeches than yesterday..i felt it was more fun..maybe bcos there was things related to wat i like n aso found frens that were doin d same course..i went up stage twice today n both for singing..we learned d theme song for LUCT called Wings to Fly..the first time i heard d song, i jus felt so connected to it..n dat made me go up n take part in singing game..

hey all..freaking tired after a whole day in uni..which ill blog next..(in dis way i will have no choice but to continue blogging)..semangat mem-blog..YAY me.. =P

So as many other bloggers have posted their post on Hennessy Artistry held last Saturday..here's my version..

It was my 2nd time attending an Artistry event..first was the one held at Zouk a month back or so..However i heard dis wan was goin to b bigger plus its Hip-hop n R&B..wat greater music to club to rite? =p (sorry i dun realli like techno/house/trance) So hearing that Fatman Scoop n Ying Yang
Twins were gonna b there..i was all hyped up..=)

When d day came..i cudnt even take an aftn nap cos too excited..wtf..Din know wat to wear cos thought it was gonna b hot since i had an experience at dat arena b4..almost fainting at Simple Plan's concert..so decided to go wit a dress..not so hot..

So got ready n Mel's mum came to pick me to head over to Kris place..left abt 7.40 den went to fetch Mun mun..while waitin outside her hse..this is wat we did

Saturday Oi Leng(the bride to be) and I(the kpc) set to go on flower selection together with Godma Pat n Aunti Alice.. so we headed down to a florist in Bangsar, Florestika..reached there slightly earlier than aunti alice..so we jus went ard looking at flowers in d super-freaking-cold-air-conditioned-flower-storage-room..dahla outside was so hot..den tiba tiba so cold..n i was in sleeveless n jeans skirt..yeah..NAIS..not sure if i turned purple..but neways..flowers there were very PWEETTYY..yes s much s i dun believe in guys giving flowers but im a huge sucker for pretty flowers.. here r some of d flowers we thought of using..

Boy now i wish i had my camera wit me..to show the things i did today..i practically walked a whole circle in town today..=.- yes my eyes n feet r quite in pain now..thanks to walking in d haze..=/

so woke up at abt 10.45 by mum to remind me to go down town to get material for grandma's chinese top for d wedding dinner..got ready n happily rushed off without taking d sample baju along..
*smart flora* pffttt... so headed down n traffic was heavy..dun ppl needa stay in office n work these days?? haiyo.. reached mum's office at 12.15..i was suppose to reach by 12..bad bad timing..

so from there we took a train to pasar seni..thus d walking journey began..went to fah num(place to get material).. spent abt 30 mins selecting which colour,pattern n amount to buy..finally decided a reddish material wit black n gold flower detailing..ill take pics of d baju once its done..hopefully..

from there..we walked to maybank..den down to raja chulan (thinking it was not dat far n monorail was no where to b found)..walk n walk n walk..n den mum said she tired alredi..=p so we stopped at menara weld for McDonalds..yes it was pass lunch time..after dat..continued walking for another 5 minutes n mum decided to head back to office cos her lunch time was up n scared her boss gets back to office..so yeah i went to menara cosway by myself..gave d tailor d material n suppose to take my measurement for my dresses but she said no need..she said i was still in shape..=/ i was den thinkin y did i walk all d way here for den..oh well..den walked over to pavilion to burn SOME time..(3hours alone in a mall n not much cash was a bad idea)

so neways i jus went window shopping..c if there's anything nice..it was sales time so i had some doubts but hack there were a few nice things..hahaha..shoes s usual..went to charles n keith..saw a few n even shoes sis got in diff colors..den guess had a nice baby pink shoe dat cud match my dresses for bro's wedding..finally saw a J.LO shoe dat is jus perfect for all 3 dresses n its now at a very reasonable price..almost 70% mark down..too bad it din have d size i wanted n i dun have a pic to show..sighhh...big SIGHHHHH..it was an in between color s usual..knowing me i dun like common colors..except black..hahaha..so yeah..

n then, i saw a lot of one shouldered sleeve dresses..there's a new one in topshop in pastel pink n sequined flowers on d sleeve side..a black one in AE which was simple n nice..

again..too bad i dun have a rich boyfriend or i'm older with a well-paid job..if not today i wudve spent 500 bucks easily..=p

at 4 i covered almost all d stores dat i wanted to c..n i was tired of walking..so i headed to Raja Chulan Monorail station n took a train back to mums office n had a cuppa tea..=)

jus b4 5 we left n headed home..WAITTTTTT not jus yet...mum headed over to d saloon to get a haircut by Jim the hairstylist..while i detoured to d bakery shop to get some ingredients for Thilip's party tomoro...HAPPY BIRTHDAY THILIP!!! dun worry u'll get to blow or cut a cake tomoro k? i doubt he even reads my blog but nonetheless its d thought dat counts..

n den im home..=) eyes tired..i may jus gobble down dinner n sleep..beh tahan..dats all folks..

So woke up Saturday morning abit moody cos lack of sleep,having cramps n dad was buggin me abt d invitation list..after dat cudnt sleep n cramps got worse n i started sweating n feeling feverish..den took panadol n muscle pain relieve n went back to sleep..i was close to not going for d match..but miraculously d pain subsided n i cud walk out of bed after 1pm..bro was watchin tv n i asked him wat time was he leaving n all..den he asked if i wanted to join him at the 308 area cos his fren still undecided n he asked if any of my frens wanted to buy over his other tix..so i said ill try to find n yes i dun mind joinin him..hehe..in my heart i was saying "hell yeah..front seats bring it on!!"..hehe..from then on, all pain was gone..=p

I went to get ready n called uncle mike to let him know i was following my bro n wud follow him bak after d match..n we left jus b4 3 n made our way to d stadium..tot using sri petaling way wudve been better..but they diverted d roads AGAIN n made us go a whole big round n park at astro parking lot..sighh..manage to get in by 5.20 n no surprise, the stadium was alredy full n players were alredi warming up on d pitch..

den on d way to our seats we met someone familiar but i cudnt recognize cos he was wearin a cap..n it was Vern (bro's fren) ..so we jus hung ard there n din even sit at our designated seats..the 308 area wasnt FULL..there were ample space to move ard n even empty seats here n there..

n soon it was kick off time..i wud say malaysia played quite well but MU wasnt goin all out..so wasnt realli a GREAT game but the atmosphere,experience n d feeling is all AWESOME..Owen got d loudest applaud from the crowd..newcomer n d man of d match..scoring d last goal..

Man Utd Training Session 17.07.09

So Friday went for Man U's Training Session. Tag along with Uncle Mike n the boys..we left abt 4pm thinking would b early enough..On the way, decided to test the camera n get use to it by taking pics of d sky n the boys in d car..Sky was clear n nice not to mention HOT s well..

Uncle used TPM way to avoid d jam coming from Sri Petaling..instead we end up goin a big round around d stadium thanks to mr-dungu-polis-men who block every turning they could that led to parking lots from our side..knowing uncle mike, he boiled up in a matter of minutes..Honking at every police man he sees..=p

After 30-45 mins or so, we manage to park n made our way to d entrance..without knowing which gate to take, we jus went d wan nearest not knowing dat d other side wudve lesser crowd..oh well..need to get recipe for liquid luck alredi..=p Neways once we were in, we settled for d higher seats where we cud roughly tell who was who..

training session lasted for about 45min-1hour then we headed home n attended BEC gathering and after dat Harry Potter..which turn out to b abit less than good.
n den it was d anticipation for d match d next day..more pics can b found at Pictos and more surprises to come. =)

hey peps..yes i know i was suppose to blog more frequently but i jus din have any juice to blog on..considering i'm grounded for 2 weeks..yeah dats another story..=p long story short, I went out too much n came bak at wee hours..so yeah..

anyhow i finally got something to blog today..n that aso thanks to my bro..y? COS he FREAKING WON A PAIR of Tickets for the Manchester United Asia Tour game worth RM308 EACH..He won it thru some website entry..when he came knockin on my door i tot wanted to scold me or something..c c he won those tickets..terkejut dibuatnya..=p

LUCKY HIM eh??
he deserve it for being quite a hardcore Red Devil's fan (n a real one) since young =p

Unfortunately im not dat lucky to sit with him in d front rows..However, he gave me his Rm58 ticket and the training session admission pass..which is better than nothing i would say.. =)

Tho im not big of a fan..but i've watched MU play since young..d days wen eric cantona used to b captain..
n david beckham was oni 16/17..
tho lately i haven been much a supporter..but i rmbr those nites wen my whole family or my bro n his frens used to watch it in d living room or wen big games against all time rivals at d mamak stall..boy those were fun nites...getting to c them real life is jus awesome enuf..hehe..wit so many talented young players..it'll b a waste not to go n c them..=p

Hey all..sorry for d long period of me MIA-ing.. Just didnt know wat to write about..alot of things had happened d past month..Some good, some not so good..A few things has changed..Some remains the same..But dun worry, I'VE MOVED ON..

so to begin with..im no longer working in starbucks anymore..due to some unbearable attitudes, i left and currently jus lepaking around..

there were times where the past was sort of reliving its scenes..but somehow, my senses told me to get a grip for it might not turn out d way it seemed..however, it realli shocked me dat i actually felt a glimpse of wat i felt back den..somethings jus dun erase dat easily eh..?? but anyhow, things passed n im learning more from each mistake..

honestly speaking d month of may was like a non stop action month..almost every weekend i had something on..mother's day, mum's bday, bridal gown testing, flower girl dress shopping, etc etc..mostly jus going shopping for various occasions..sadly non for me..=p

apart from that..met a few new frens..courtesy of kristine thong who intro-ed to me..glad to have made new frens..but somehow sadden dat some old frens r jus drifting more apart..it pisses me off at times but wat am i to do if some chooses others over u..ive said dis b4 n here again i shall say, i rather have lesser but greater..pointless to have more but useless..rather be grateful for those ard than tolerate ungratefulness..i dun treat others unkind unless treated likewise..

neways..i cant wait for thursday..i presume it as a HAPPY day..first ill b attending the Hennessy event at Zouk wit Kristine n 2 of our new frens, Yat & Hikaru..secondly, it is one of my good frens' bday..JASON NG..he's turning 24..HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance jace..thirdly, 2 movies will b released on dat day..hope to catch 17 Again if time allows..=)

s bad s d title sounds..but im jus here to say that ive moved on from d emo state i was in d past few weeks..n ive got myself straight n moving again (tho im lying on my bed most of d time =p)..jus being me seems to b going well..less thinking = less emo..i jus hope i can stay in this happy/positive state for awhile..life's too short to b emo n sad rite?

neways, after dat i woke up to jus get myself some bkfs since i cudnt sleep bak..so while eating my bakon sandwich, i turned on Star world, n i saw American Idol was on repeat n Danny bokey was up next..so jus stayed tune..n wen he sang Hero by Mariah Carey, i cried AGAIN..eventho it was my 2nd time watchin it..so yeah..more tears..s they say after cryin u will feel sleepy..true enuf i slept bak n woke up by d sound of d postmen..=\ it was a freakin saman..immediate reaction was to open n check which car..cos both honda's r under mums name..somehow i felt guilty k..cos been driving crazy plus i din wanna waste my 2 years of probation ok..it ends dis march..so i tore it open,n guess wat?? I saw MY CAR NO PLATE on d paper..lagi i freaked out..den as i checked d details, it was actually a reminder to my mum..cos she din not clear d saman she got at d market area..so dat was a relief.. PHEWWW..close call..=S so i quickly gum it bak so dat mum wudnt know i opened it..hehe..P&C..

so after dat tried sleepin bak but cudnt..so jus made another sandwich for my "lunch" dis time wit caviar..yumm..sat down n watched more tv to burn time b4 i headed to work..

left hse at 1.20 to collect Kris' tortee's pillow from her hse..YES PILLOW..one spoilt tortoise ehh..n after dat it was time for work..reached there in time..not many customers..had time to do coffee tasting n complete my coffee passport..but there was a slight problem,there was water leaking under one of d chillers below d La Marzocco espresso machine..so we rolled d chiller out to c wat was wrong..n we thought d coil was not functioning well..n den wen i was entertainin a customer, BRSSSSSSSSSHHHH!!!! sounded like something broke n d next thing u know, water was splashin n spraying under d BAR..yes..n my asst manager was tryin to cover d over pressured water pipe..d water kept gashin out..no way of stopping it..i was still stuck behind d counter..while d others went to grab mop,cloth,newspaper n everythin possible to stop d water from flowing..n mind u d store was quite pack..some customers were still sitting n minding their own business..seriously..

so yea we had to find a quick solution n dat was sweeping d water out thru d side entrance..thank god for our new partner aka my petbro from BTHO2 who was suppose to do his "first impression" b4 he starts his training end up helping us sweeping water out d store..yeah..speak of beginners luck man..he was REALLI LUCKY..it took us quite a while to get d place dry n business running..from then we cud oni make blended drinks..so customers werent realli pleased..d whole Bar n Store was in a mess..jus cudnt get things done wen d main tap is SHUT DOWN..so all helplessly waiting for d plumber to come fix..

at abt 7, Kamil(another partner) tried to fix n BSHHhhhh!!!!!!!!! SECOND EXPLODE!!... dis time all pro n moved quickly..so water out d same door..n finally d plumber arrived..it was done in less than 20 mins..=/

i came bak wit bottom soaked jeans n shoes..feet still feel cold till now..=/ i cant imagine those 2 who practically had their shower from that blast off..one things for sure, d floor got a GOOD MOP..neva seen d tiles so clean in my whole 1 month of working..

so there u have ppl, a not so good thursday..in my heart i thought y din i jus follow kristine to krabi..it wudve safe me from this BAD DAY..=(

hi everyone..its realli been a while since i last blog..thousand apologiz..was realli reluctant to blog at first but whole day been gettin signs n so finally kris talked me into blogging..so here's a question..have u ever felt so close to someone/a few ppl dat u feel dat u will neva b able to live without them nearby or ard?? cos i need to know if im d oni paranoid one ard or not..

so neways..keep hearin so close n yiruma's river flows in u n kiss the rain today..n mind u, its like bak to bak..so wen it happened d second time, i told kris n she said it was a sign..wat sign i aso dunno..all i know i got pretty emo both times after those 2 songs..

but anyhow..was in malacca d past 2 days (sunday n monday) wit Kristine n Christopher..kris n i have been plannin to go malacca jus for food for sometime now n we finally made it dis year..thruout d whole trip ive manage to gather some thoughts to myself while i was seating in d backseat..

like how it all begun..wat will happen wen they both leave for studies..where will i b sent for uni..will things still stay d same between d 3 of us..will i ever get another chance..will i stop being emo..will i continue falling..will i stop being angry..wat are d chances..will i ever get d chance to say wat i feel..

there was alot running thru my head thru out d trip..to an extend i end up sleepin on d wrong bed..yeah..

bak to malacca, we started our journey abt 8.30 after bkfs in mahkota cheras..n we reached malacca town by 9.40..it was a smooth journey cos there werent many cars on d road..sempat camwhore wit driver aso..lolz..
so since we cudnt check in, we headed to town first n visit d stadhuys monument..parked opposite st francis xavier's church n walked across..cudnt resist d nice setting in front d christ church n so it was time to face d camera..
and then it was d stairs climbing..all d way up st pauls hill..which we oni found out a day later dat it connects to the A'Famosa..=.="

once up st paul's hill..we took shots wit d old remains n walked ard lookin for a nice view to take shots..it was a very windy n nice place to hang out..all of us were reluctant to leave..=P
after dat it was time for a drink..so walked over to jonker street for some cendol..The Authentic Nyonya Cendol..yeah..we were so earli dat d guy asked us to wait for 10 mins..lolz..

after dat we got some junk at jusco n den headed to check in..due to d heat, we decided to go soak ourselves in d swimming pool..jumped ard n splashed ard n came bak into d room to get some rest b4 d long nite..
at abt 7 we left for dinner..which is the famous Satay Celup..went to d wan dad brought me some years ago..line wasnt dat long but had time to camwhore tepi jalan..hehe..once we got our tables we sat n ate abt 15 sticks each..yes we're not such a big fan of satay celup..still wonder how ppl can eat up to 50 sticks..jus scary..

den we headed to menara taming sari where we wasted 10 bucks on a 7 minutes ride..haha..lucky thing we manage to get a FEW nice shots..if not realli wasted..once we got down, headed bak to Jonker street for d night market..kris n i got ourselves a temporary tattoo of a butterfly which is pretty awesome..wudve asked chris to get one but i think he might jus run off n neva come bak..hahaha..n later i got myself high on Kampai which is a non-alcoholic fruit drink while waiting for my durian cendol..yeah..dat was abit insane la ah..u can check it out in kris' facebook albums once its up..

after dat we headed bak to our apartment..d ride home somehow switched my mode..maybe it was d time or somethin..im not too sure myself but it realli got me thinkin on stuff dat i mentioned earlier..but once we got bak n started drinkin, i KO-ed d first..we oni played d devils deck n truth or dare..having oni 3 ppl, d tendency of losing is higher..lolz..so yeah..had high hopes thruout d day but in d end slept with difficulty breathin,heart pumping n on d verge of burstin out into tears on d wrong bed..sighhss...

woke up earli in d morning to switch off d light but end up waking up both Chris n kris..=/
chatted wit kris for a while n den slept off at d couch till later in d morning..woke up d earliest, got myself ready n woke up d rest later on..

at abt 11.30 we checked out n headed for chicken rice ball at jonker..everyone was still pretty quite n stoned..kris n i had difficulty finishin 5 balls wen chris did 10 without a problem..=/
after dat we decided to head to A'Famosa..which after climbing up MORE stairs dat its actually connected to the Stadhuys building..=/ they were both on St Paul's hill..so din do much up there but take a few more pics n get burnt by the sun..=p n after dat we decided to head to the A'famosa water park in alor gajah..had to use mdm GPS cos neither one of us knew how to get there..n d route the GPS took us was jus out of our knowledge la ah..hehe..so we kinda ended our Malacca trip there..spent a couple of hours there b4 headin bak to Kajang..

eventho it was oni a 2 days trip,one thing for sure, i wouldntve spent that holiday with anyone else besides Kristine n Christopher..

a best friend and a friend who i still wanna know more abt..

As most of u know ive started workin at Starbucks..so far its been great..learnin new stuff n i dun mind workin in dis line for a while..but d sad part is i caught a flu after working jus one day..satpai rite..ive been tryin to figure out wat made me fall sick..but i still dunno which can b d actual reason..weird..i know..

partly i blame for d late nites ive been having..d other reason is overworking myself n not drinking enuf water n too much coffee intake?? hmmmph..but even wen i sleep earli, i have d habit of wakin up in d mid of d nite..for god knows wat reason..eager to c msges?? i dunno..n after dat have dreams dat im not sure i wud wan at dis point of time..where confusion is piling up in my thoughts..dreams i wish would come true because everyone deserves to b happy rite? wat more cud a girl my age ask for..besides more dresses n shoes..some may say i overthink things n taking things too fast..but some things r jus beyond ur control..its not like i asked for it..it jus happens..

i appreciate ur concern but being supportive is no harm rite?? den again ppl see from a diff perspective which is often beta than my perspective cos i tend to wan my way n my way onli..its jus sometimes u wish somethin bad happens so dat somethin good can happen in d future..karma..but i guess in my life bad things jus cant quit from happening..(yes im aware there's other ppl suffering more than me..)

i mean wat happen to being nice n ull b treated / repayed well?? i dun c how me being nice helps..all i get is a whole load of S*** from everyone ard..n they ask how come i have issues with everyone n not how come everyone has issues wit me? seriously..
